How do I decide which tier is the right for me?
If you are unsure, contact me. Generally speaking if you are a sole proprietor, freelancer or a small business owner, the Basic tier is probably enough for you. If you want to build custom applications and use Notion as a database, or CMS, or any other non-typical implementation go for Pro tier.
There are free and cheap templates available, why is this service so expensive compared to the templates?
A template can be generic and used for many different cases. It can be resold to hundreds of customers without many changes. A personalized consulting focuses on your business and your use cases.
If you choose to build a completely custom template, I will listen to your requirements, understand your business needs and help you choose the best solutions to make sure you benefit from it.
Typical Notion consulting hour rates can range between $50 and $200. A custom template can cost between $100 and $1000 or even more, based on complexity.
I don't think I need a full month of guidance, can I get only half?
No. Template creation and customization process takes multiple iterations and communication over several weeks. 1:1 sessions need time for preparation and execution and we need to find the time that suits both of us. 1 month is the smallest unit of time we can afford.
What if I need a basic template but integrated with some external tools?
It depends. Let's say you need a simple Tally form to Notion integration - this can be covered with Basic Tier. But if you need a Tally form which takes several fields, transforms the data, creates multiple Notion entries, ... then this is not a simple template anymore, is it?
Can I still take the Basic tier and ask for services from Standard and Pro?
Of course. You will be charged for the extra services you use, per hour or per project - we will define the rate before I start working on it. Contact me and we'll find a solution.
Each tier has a) or b) options, can I get a mix of both consulting and custom templates?
Yes it is possible. For example if you need just an hour of coaching to get to know Notion more, you can spend the rest to build a custom template.
What If my template takes more than a month to complete?
You will get a time budget for each month. If I will know immediately that it can not be done in that time, I will let you know before I start it (when we discuss your wishes). Then you decide what to do.
What about a refund policy?
Refunds are possible only before the work has started. Personalized guidance or custom Notion templates are "goods made to order or clearly personalized" and "online digital content, which can not be returned once you download it" and as such they are an exception to refunds. But don't worry, before I start we will need to discuss your wishes and if your selected service is not a good fit, you will be fully refunded.
All things considered, your offer is quite cheap. Where's the catch?
You're right. The offer is quite cheap.
